(NYSE:GPS), the company named Mark Hansen, currently of the Banana Republic unit, to head the flagship Gap brand. Mark Pressler recently resigned as CEO, and the company continues its search for a new top executive. Gap, which owns Banana Republic, Gap, and Old Navy has been struggling of late, and the Gap brand has been in a lot of trouble.
