People are becoming healthy conscious now-a-days. Why? For one, health care cost is already on an all time high! The acronym is NEWSTART.N - stands for nutrition. Proper nutrition and diet should always be taken into consideration. Balanced diet should be taken into thought. Because of the fast pace of life especially in highly urbanized areas, people tend to eat in fast food chains only.
People have heart attacks or suffer from cerebrovascular diseases such as stroke.E - stands for exercise. Exercising regularly helps burn out fats, eliminate body wastes, increase blood circulation to all our body organs, and also improve our skeletal muscles. Brisk walking is a good form of exercise. So is swimming. For busy people, the thread mill in gyms or in your home is also good. However, before doing any kind of exercise, be sure to consult your physician whether it is advisable for you to do one particular form of exercise or not.
Your doctor could recommend you a safe exercise plan for you.W - stands for water. Drinking at least six glasses of water a day is advisable for everyone. Water hydrates our circulatory systems and flushes out waste products from our systems. Of course, drink clean potable water. If you go to places where you are not sure of the safety of water, drink commercial bottled water.S - stands for sunshine or sunlight. Sunshine is the best source of vitamin D. Vitamin D is essential to our body and greatly strengthens our bones. Early morning sunlight is the best.
