Of course, the Hollywood honchos are always looking for deep-pockets to finance their movies, and the hedge funds are in need of deep-pocketed investors.In a way, Hollywood and hedge funds are a perfect match. Both are full of glamor, but often lacking in substance. Hedge funds are sexy enough to appeal to newly-rich movie stars and producers who might not be aware that they would probably do better sticking their money in more traditional investments.At the same time, "investing" in the movies allows geeky, math-nerd hedge fund mangers to feel cool.
